    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was incredibly informative and the teacher is wonderful. She's understanding and so willing to help.

    Course highlights:

It was the first course I have taken in my entire high school and college career that I felt like I learned everything and most importantly remember a really large portion

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything on the powerpoints. She posts them online on D2L. Even the fine print and examples can be test questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you have to take Principles of Biology I, take Mrs. Bellwood. She is beyond insightful at all things biolgoy. She cares for her students and tries really, really hard to ensure all students get the best possible grade they are capable of achieving. She provides plenty of resources to try and make the class go smoothly.

    Course highlights:

I am a biology major, but Mrs. Bellwood attitude and love for the subject material was definitely the highlight. I typical do not look forward to labs, but her labs were fun. She gives guided readings and puts power points online, so studying is not too difficult and it is fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Unless you are naturally gifted at biology, you will probably have to study a good bit. Show up to class as she gives multiple warnings about potential quiz/test questions. The lab is used to help boost your grade, so do not skip them. Do the guided reading. Study- you will be fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a wonderful course. I learned so much. It was beyond a doubt a difficult course but possible if you study hard. She was very understanding and really willing to help even outside class hours. She wanted nothing more than to see the further success of her students.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I even knew existed in biology. One chapter was about nothing but the water molecule. It was amazing to see that something we encounter everyday had so incredibly much complexity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely look over the PowerPoint she leaves on the website for you. It's what the tests are based off of and it does a wonderful job of explaining everything in detail. Don't forget to keep a close eye on the little examples too
