    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a very fun and rigorous course for me. It was the only class I have ever received a B in and was extremely challenging. Mr. Mayers teaches very quickly and you need to be able to keep up.

    Course highlights:

I learned all the principles of pre calculus such as matrices and parabolas, hyperbolas, etc. But in our class we went even further and learned most of Calculus AB. We learned all about derivatives, 3d shapes, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to do the homework every day and never skip it. Also take notes in class and write down everything that the teacher writes. If you need help don't be afraid to ask your classmates or go see your teacher after school, they're there to help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it goes into more depth with solving equations and all other kinds of skills.

    Course highlights:

Solving equations from a word problem. I hated word problems and still kind of do, but i know how to do them way better than i ever could.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not jump straight into this course, take a seminar class( A class designed to help you before you take the actual course) first, and when you take the actual course, everything is way easier, and study daily, it will help you out a lot!!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pre-Calculus is a pretty challenging course, however with a bit of patience and effort, the course will become easier than you think.

    Course highlights:

I was never paying attention in class. I was constantly working on other class work, but I always went home and studied the material by myself. Through this, I put myself in rough late nights that I couldve avoided had I paid attention in class. I recommend sitting in front of the class and going to tutor room if you need help.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use outside materials, ie YouTube and Khan Academy to help you study the course. Its easier when you put effort in the subject. Dont let one bad test score bring you down.
