    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is not an easy course and it requires a lot of reading. If a student is willing to put in the effort and dedication, then they should go ahead and give the class try. The class is very interesting if science is one of your favorite subjects. Be prepared to study if you take AP Bio! Overall, the class was a fun experience and I would take it again

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning a lot about life that I hadn't previously known and making new friends! From learning about nerves and how they transmit messages to plant reproduction to mitosis/meiosis, the topics we learned in depth were extremely interesting. The course also teaches students about genetic mutations, variation, and tracing. Towards the end of the year, students will get to dissect a pig, allowing them to learn more about organs!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be dedicated and prepared to study! Most students do not think AP Biology is an easy course. Don't be afraid to ask questions if confused. There are going to be times where nothing makes sense (hint: protein synthesis) but if you are focused, you will eventually begin to pick things up quicker. Create study groups with our friends and good luck!
