Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

i would recommend chemistry to anyone that likes to be challenged. this class incorporates in some math but not to an excess , the labs done in chemistry were my favorite by far out of all the science classes i have taken, from making popcorn , to making ice cream there was never a dull moment in that class.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry was one of my favorite courses because it pushes you to think outside of the box. unlike living environment where its essentially all memorization chemistry is more of applying what you have learned to solve a problem , also the labs we did in my chemistry class were very fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

chemistry is a class where you need to apply yourself so if you wish to pass , its crucial that you pay attention in class. if you love science and you love a challenge this is a great class. before a big test i would recommend you know all the laws and all the different equations.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course! Along with fun labs, Mrs. Parigoris made sure we knew the material and were well prepared for our exams. She had extra help after school and in the morning before school if we did not understand the topic.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of tying in math and science, regarding formula weights and moles. As a tenth grader taking this course, I gained more responsibility with the amount of homework given.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your notes thoroughly and be sure to be prepared for your exams. If you do not understand something, get the help because you will be taking a regents exam at the end of the year.
