    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend if you genuinely enjoy science and want to know how and why things work the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about plants that I didn't know before and we learn this concept of form=function and that helped me not only in this particular biology class but my anatomy class as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in this course you have to want it and apply yourself. It is not a course you take just to get a science credit, you put in a lot of time and hard work into understanding the topic because it is quite independent. If you don't push yourself, you won't allow yourself the full experience!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn lots of interesting materials in AP biology. The downfall of this course is that it is very confusing subjects. We jump around a lot and it does not make sense the order we learned new materials. You end up having to go back and reread the text book on a weekly basis to fully comprehend new materials.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. We had a lot of hands on learning which helped to make the drawings and text books come to life. It was also nice that we had a couple open note tests and the midterm and final were relatively easy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read through the text book as often as possible to clarify what was taught in class. Also, do not be afraid to ask questions. Many people dropped the class because they were too nervous to ask questions, but had a lot of confusion after lectures.
