    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very challenging and can help you become an overall good learner. Both AP English and AP US History have helped me become a better note taker, it has helped me learn how to ask better questions, and has highly improved my analysis ability.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of both AP English and AP US History courses would have to be all of the essay writing. Because of all of the essays, I gained a heightened ability to analyze and understand text and then write about that same text.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My best advice is to take lots of notes, ask questions, and, most importantly, pay attention. Since the course was yearlong, my teacher gave our class plenty of opportunities to practice and prepare for the AP exam. I advise that you take any opportunity for help and that you trust your teacher in helping you succeed on the AP Exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is rigorous and will challenge students to their full potential. This course will also prepare students for college level courses and academics.

    Course highlights:

In this class I gained more knowledge on American history and how Society has changed because of the impact on what our founding fathers wanted for America. The interesting part about this course was learning how going to war pretty much solved any conflict throughout history

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students Should take this course if they are interested in learning more about history as well as challenged themselves for a college ready course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those that are interested in history and would like a more in depth look at American history. I would also recommend this to those that want to take a challenging history class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning about Native Americans and how they were treated (wrongly) and also about slavery.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, and study some more. Always read the book and go over topics after you finish the topic. Do not procrastinate on work. Get good at writing good essays. Try your best on every essay because the ones done in class and for homework will greatly help you when you have to write a DBQ and LEQ.
