    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you plan to take a physics class in college because it will prepare you and give you an understanding of what the course is like. This is important in my opinion because it can also give you an idea if you like that area of study. Overall, I would recommend it because it could help you out in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of things in Physics. I learned about gravity, and solving scientific problems, but the most important thing I learned was that this class is not for me. I will not be advancing any degree dealing with physics, and I am glad I took this course to help me realize that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course, I recommend you study a little every day. This course is difficult, and you should not try to cram all the information in your brain the night before the test. It is best to study a little each night, so you will allow yourself more time to learn the material and do well on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class has a good mix of math and hands on learning. We built rat trap cars and an egg drop contest, using everyday materials. With the math portion of the class Dr. Kellersmith will go through the content with everyone and if one is still struggling, she will help that person get caught up with the rest of the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned many of the equations for vectors and solving them. Also I learned that not everything works in theory, sometimes trial and error is the best way to approach a diffucult problem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, Dr. Kellersmith will give you the equations but you have to know how to apply them to any given problem. Don't be afraid to ask questions, she is happy to break it down so everyone understands.
