    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is an intense class that taught me so much more than just about the laws of the land. Mr. Mahlum is teacher that truly cares about getting a student ready for college, being a good citizen, as well as learning the events that created the country we live in today.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was that there was always more, there was never enough time, and you were never bored. I learned the best ways to take notes, and memorize because there was so much to take in.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class will be really tough. There is a huge learning curve, but Mahlum is great teacher who will really help you. Only take this class if you believe you are ready, but if you aren't confident in your ability to change your habits and take the time to grow then this class is not for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is highly interactive and interesting. The teacher accomodates to all learning styles and sets students up for success. The only downside is a lot of reading and note taking but the material is worth the time.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights was the socratic seminars. All students were able to take on historical figures of certain units and express the beliefs of their chosen people in an educational way. These seminars immersed students into the content of the course, which leads to a more rewarding learning experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the chapters. There are pop quizzes on the reading regularly. They are a good portion of your grade, but the teacher allows you as many notes as you want and also gives extra credit to those who take time to make notes.
