    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course for any student looking to go into the medical field. This course has a college atmosphere and a quick pace curriculum. Taking this class will give a huge heads up to anyone who thinks they're ready for college and wants to go into a field where knowledge of the human body is essential.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would be the teacher and the labs. The teacher lectures, but always finds fun and new ways to learn the material. Many of the labs and practicals contain important information that will help you in the future. I learned about the human body in new ways, exploring rats and pigs to give a hands on experience. I learned about the college atmosphere and how no excuses will be taken. I can only hope you'll take as much if not more than I have from this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to look through the lectures online, she will post them for every chapter. Everything on the power point will be up for grabs on a test. Making flashcards for med terms helps, especially when they come back up in later chapters. Reading the color plates information is also essential, don't just color it and ignore the words.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great opportunity for those who are interested in medical careers or just want to get a feel for college and the work load required. The teacher opens your eyes to many career choices within the medical field that pertain to what you're learning. It's a great step to prepare for the future.

    Course highlights:

It is very important to remember this is not just anatomy, it is physiology as well; therefore, you also learn about the way the body works not just how its made up. The topic stays on the human body, however, each chapter takes a different look and gets more detailed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study for this course, the tests are not that hard if you know the subject matter. A lot of people get caught up by tests, but it is because they do not study. Just pay attention and use the chapter reviews along with the book, it helps a lot.
