    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course really grew me as a writer and expanded my vocabulary and my ways of thinking . It is challenging and rigorous but worth it .

    Course highlights:

I liked the Ted Talks, when we received writing prompts that allowed us to express our opinions , and membean. I learned how to write well efficient essays , how to stay on topic with writing, and how to get straight to the point when answering thesis statements.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be dedicated 24/7. Stay on top of your work , and constantly check your grades. Turn your work in on time and put your all into each of your assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you need an English class to pass High School so why not challenge yourself and take an AP class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was timed writes, multiple choice questions, and using figurative language when writing. I learned how to write educated essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would consider you guys to do your work ahead of time and focus in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Frias is a great teacher and truly has opened her students eyes to the world we live in today. She has not only taught her students English, but how to use it to create and make our own decisions. thoughts, and opinions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course has to be the discussions. We speak on many issues that are happening today and analyze issues that have happen before and ultimately strive to understand the purpose.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is Ap so I would advice to be prepared to work hard. There will be a lot of writing, reading, and annotating to get you ready for the Ap exam at the end of the year. Other than that the class is overall very interactive and group projects have also been done.
