Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Enjoyed the writing assignments and the teacher was fun to work with. The class helped me to become a better and more focused writer, especially for my other classes. I feel prepared for my future writing assignments in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot on how to write a research paper. I learned citations and ways to quote, as well as how to properly research for good information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay dedicated to your assignments and do not procrastinate. Ask for help when needed in order to receive a good outcome on an essay. The hardest part about writing a paper is getting started, the rest will come easily.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am taking this course as a CC+ class. It is an intro to writing course that gets your first year of college writing out of the way while you are still in high school. It is a workshop course. By taking this course in high school, you have more time in class to get your writing done with a teacher there to answer your questions.

    Course highlights:

I gained a new knowledge of writing. It wasn't like a normal English class because all you worked on was writing. We didn't have distractions like having to read certain novels while trying to write an essay. It was very spread out and the deadlines were not too close together. I enjoyed having a teacher with me in the classroom to answer my questions right away.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to do well in this course you have to have a lot of time management. You have a lot of time in class to get your work done, so use that wisely. Not all work can be done in the classroom, however, so when you are outside of school you do have to remain focused on your topic and manage your time wisely so that you are not cramming an entire essay into one night.
