    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a very challenging class, that will push you past your limits, and requires you to study all of the time. When I finished the course, it felt very rewarding because I walked out knowing more than I ever thought I could.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge about the human body. We covered lessons such as cells and tissues, the brain and its functions, respiratory, endocrine, lymbic, etc. system. We also spent a unit dissecting a cat and observing its vital organs, brain, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is not an option in this class. To come out even with a C, you must study and study carefully and slowly. Make note cards, and have friends, teachers, parents etc. quiz you. I would recommend even spending extra time with the teacher.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Anyone searching for a high level introduction to the structure and functions of the human body should sign up for this class immediately. While dry at times, Barlow delves into her subject with a passion and expertise unseen in many high school level entry classes. A must take for any students that want to enter a medical profession.

    Course highlights:

A multitude of cat dissections, a visit to the CSU anatomy lab with the opportunity to hold a human brain and touch a real cadaver, in depth activities involving each of the body's systems, and many, many powerpoints and notes

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take a lot of notes, stay on task, get as many flash cards written out as you possibly can, and in general, study everything that she goes over, because almost everything discussed in class ends up on the test
