Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for students looking to further their education in the spanish speaking realm of foreign language. Señora Schorr does a great job being involving in the classroom, and explaining topics to students.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I was able to gain more knowledge of how to use then different tenses like subjunctive, preterite, imperfect, etc. I also increased my skills in being able to speak and understand Spanish thanks to the 99.9% Spanish only setting. Some of the highlights were listening to many Spanish songs, and being able to pick up key words or phrases in the songs and actually use, and understand them in a conversation. It was a great tool used by Sra. Schorr to teach the class Spanish.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Some good advice would be to listen carefully in class, and to always keep an organized binder (you will receive a lot of papers). Limit the use of function as will make speaking difficult, always, always, always do your homework, it counts towards your grade. Finally, participate! Get those participation’s points by raising your hand frequently and speaking as much Spanish as you can, after all that is the goal right? Participation points, often times, brought my grade up a full letter.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend any foreign language to students but I believe Spanish is very important. The United States is surrounded by Spanish speaking countries and people. Learning this language makes the world a smaller place.

    Course highlights:

This course went over the verb tenses and helped you memorize them. It also went over the different types of subjunctive sentences and conjugations. I thought it was very helpful because you were learning more about the grammar of the language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I thought that conjuguemos was a very helpful website when learning verb tenses and I would recommend using it. I would also say that practice makes perfect, if you do the homeworks and practice worksheets you will learn the material much easier.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was hard but worth it. Learning a language is so cool

    Course highlights:

I learned how to actually speak the language, not just pass the class

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do your work and study
