    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is designed to be given a more in depth approach to chemistry but with a better understanding of what is going on. Dr. Manly is lecturing to 136 students and she moves very quick. Her grading scale is not a percent until the end, up until that point, points are out of 1,000. I would not recommend this class if you prefer more one on one with instructor. Supplemental instructor sessions were always when I was unavailable or or in another class.

    Course highlights:

That I was finally done with this course, I came in loving chemistry and came out hating more than ever before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, do the reading, do the homework, and take your time on the tests, they may seem easy but you may miss a question very easily. The final is given by the ACS so purchase the study guide at the beginning of the semester.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was amazing! Chemistry is the best subject to learn! It is so amazing to see how the body works and how many things are going on inside us that we don't see.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was the molecular geometry. I love seeing how certain cells can be shaped certain ways.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is gonna be hard. There will be times when you want to give up! You need to push through though. This subject is so fascinating.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

They started a new way to teach at kennesaw state. It was called "flipped classrooms". In class we did more in depth analyzing of the material, almost like studying. At home we had book work.

    Course highlights:

Gained an in depth knowledge of stoichiometry and enthalpy.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

the more work you put into this course outside of lecture, the more successful you'll be.
