This class was tough.
This class is very difficult if you have never taken a chemistry class before college. There is a lot of math equations involved, and unless you took something higher than Algebra 2 in high school, you will struggle with the course load. I recommend taking a college level math course, and not taking another difficult class at the same time as this Chemistry class.
I learned more math than I did actually chemistry. Not a lot of the science portion of the class stuck because in Ms.Monroe's class she focuses more on the formulas and the math than the science.

Advice for students:
Study all the equations. You get a periodic table and some of the equations during the test, however, if you go to the professor for questions, she will not walk you through a question. She will tell you how to do it, over and over, but will not tell you where you made your mistake. It was very frustrating.
