    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    I would highly recommend this course to students that are trying to decide if they want to pursue a career in computer science because this serves as the foundation for future classes.

    Course highlights:

    I learned that computer science is more than just coding. In CS 1301, you learn that problem solving is the most useful characteristic/trait needed to pursue a career in computer science. Problem solving will also get you through the course!

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Ask questions! Since this is the intro to programming, the teachers and teacher assistants are trying their best persuade you to pursue a career in computer science. They try to make everything as clear as possible, but won't know if something is unclear unless you tell them.

    Great professor! He explains everything in depth and exams are fairly easy!

    Course highlights:

    Java was super fun to learn! Enjoyed learning how to program!

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Do all of the labs and assignments!! Pay attention and take a lot of notes!
