Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course explored the social aspects of teaching and how it influenced children's learning. The course focused on the background of the children and how that was to be handled in the classroom. We were taught about tolerance and integration in the classroom.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was being exposed to different cultures, ideas, and things that were out of my comfort zone. Despite it seeming like common sense, I learned that people have different experiences than me. It taught me to be more accepting, and that sometime I need to see things from other people's perspectives.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not come into this course with a closed mind. You may not always feel comfortable, but this course will push to become a better person. There is not much studying involved, but you do need to read what you are assigned.
