    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Marktanner is awesome. He is so passionate about economics and makes sure that you understand the concepts. He also rounds your final class grade so that an 87 is an A, a 77 is a B, and so on.

    Course highlights:

Highlights were being able to understand economics in real life situations, and being able to apply a concept in my life, even in places like the grocery store. This was great for me especially since I have a really hard time understanding economics in general.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the problem sets and powerpoints!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bo Kim is a great teacher and truly cares about his students. He makes learning fun and helps in any way he can to help you understand the material better. The tests are challenging but he gives tons of extra credit.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about how the U.S. economy and other national economies work. The highlight of the course for me was learning about yield curves.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all the articles he hands out! Also, read through all the PowerPoint slides very carefully. One more thing, attend class!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course for those students who would prefer an engaged professor that truly teaches the material in class. Also there are only 3 exams that determine the final grade with two pop quizzes of which the dates are not in the syllabus.

    Course highlights:

I did learn much more about Microeconomics and the basic concepts to apply in my future career in business.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to ensure they know that the Economics tutor lab is in the Buruss Building 2nd floor, and they have awesome tutors to help students.
