Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The concepts are needed to advance to AP Calculus AB. If you don't understand trigonometry, you're doomed.

    Course highlights:

I learned and memorized the unit circle early on, which proved to be useful in later lessons and calculus class. I mastered trig identities and proving problems.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice and ask for help. It might seem confusing and difficult at first, but it really isn't if you practice. Trig is a whole new math language; you need to practice if you want to do well. The early lessons and concepts are the most important ones. You need them to understand later concepts. Studying the unit circle and trig identities early on will help you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Many students see Pre-Calc as a very impossible class. However, Mrs. Goldrick takes the time to properly teach the class in a way you understand. She teaches in the fashion of a college professor, so it might take you time to get use to it. In the end, it is worth it. I left that class feeling like I have a strong sense of the subject.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was the matrix project. I learned a great bit of calculator programming. Also, I was a lot of fun learning to create pictures with math! Mrs. Goldrick even introduced me to several great YouTube math instructors to further help with homework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not let peer pressure influence you not to take this course! Many students tried to tell me it would be too hard and that I was crazy for signing up for the class. Although the class is no walk in the park, it was worth all the effort. As long as you put effort into your studies, the class will be enjoyable.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is challenging and rigorous for those who struggle with math. It is also the most rewarding it helps improve mathematical skills needed for college.

    Course highlights:

I learned that if you do your homework and apply yourself you will be successful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework and attend tutorials given to you. Watch professor Rob Bob on youtube he has very good lessons online. Don't be afraid to ask questions either teachers are there to help you be successful.
