    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's really helped me to think outside myself and what's going on in my life. It has also taught me to respect others and their beliefs and opinions.

    Course highlights:

Classroom discussions. That's the biggest highlight for me. Everyone was comfortable sharing their opinions and everyone was open to learn because the environment is safe. It taught me how to be a better human.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. Take notes. Be open to learn. Don't shut others out because they're different from you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because the assignments were genuinely creative but challenging and Mrs. Pellissier allows a very welcoming and open environment so the class becomes a refuge from the rest of your life and high school. This teacher really taught me a lot; not only about writing and British Literature but also about myself and the importance of truly listening to the people around us.

    Course highlights:

Reading the book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. The fifth chapter, which was titled; Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood resinated with me. The author, Sean Covey opened my eyes to the faults of how I listen, and explained what listening really is. In a free verse he stated, "Listen! All I ask is that you listen. Don't talk or do- just hear me." So many people, including myself, struggle with the task of listening because they don't truly grasp the concept of listening .

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the class with an open mind and a bold voice. You will be heard in this class.
