Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Bean is an absolutely fantastic teacher and he makes learning bio fun!

    Course highlights:

We learned about everything that we did in normal biology, however with a lot more depth. Doing projects about the different topics were so much fun, and he really knows how to teach.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it! If you have any interest in biology or how different things in life work, then take this course. Its amazing how much I learned while taking this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Biology is interesting as you learn about your human body, and also about how the earth and humans rely on each other to survive.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the chromosome and genes and how you are made as an individual and one of a kind, there is only one you.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the required reading and don't be afraid to go that one step further.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class prepares students for both Chemistry and Physics, and honestly is the foundation for any science class you'll take in high school or in college. Even if Biology isn't your thing, it's not going away so you might as well put your best foot forward and try your best in this class.

    Course highlights:

The "Cell City" project is a main highlight of this course. Most students opt for the poster option, but I've seen some 3D models this past year that turned out amazing (and received some impressive grades).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to take some great notes and keep them tucked away for upcoming science classes and even for college, I wish I had mine right about now.
