Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun course to take as well as informational. First, By taking this course you have the opportunity to go to Williamsburg which was a highlight of my junior year because I learned so much and had fun. Also, Mr. Cyr conducts great lesson plans with fun activities such as debates, group projects, stories, and more.

    Course highlights:

Going on the Williamsburg trip was very unique because my classmates and I had the opportunity to see the culture of "early America" as well as bond with one another and become great friends. Additionally, through the course we learned everything from the pre Columbus era, all the way to the early 2000's, and Mr. Cyr teaches in a way thats easy for most to retain by telling interesting unforgettable (and even sometimes humorous) stories. Also, most of my class and I all passed the A.P. test with Mr. Cyr's generous review courses and outstanding teaching style.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study every night you recieve new material (do not wait until the night before to start studying material). Also, plan ahead such as for essay exams (example: create an outline if you are given the prompt and create a strong thesis, body paragraphs (evidence), and conclusion so that when you take the essay exam in class, you have the main points. Also, attend the review sessions after school because they will help so much! So many people say they will study at home but never do and then fail so attend review sessions and get extra help when needed!
