    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I 100% recommend taking Anatomy and Physiology even if you struggled in biology like I did. I was nervous in taking the course but Mrs. Nelson is an amazing teacher and makes sure you understand the intricate material. Anatomy and Physiology is a very useful and practical course that allows you to understand how you are structured and function.

    Course highlights:

So far I have learned so much! Before taking the class I could not tell you for sure which arm muscle was the tricep brachii and which was the bicep brachii. I understand the complex process behind muscle contraction and the differences between skeletal and smooth contractions. Knowing how your body is structured and how it functions can help you out in day to day life without even being aware of it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not cram. I repeat, do not cram. Gradual studying is key and if you make a small study group with some friends, studying becomes fun and a regular thing throughout the year. Just because it is hard does not mean it is not worth it.
