    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a lot of work and projects but it is definitely worth it. There are also a lot of essays and notes in the beginning and the final projects are killer but you get to choose the topic you want to do it on so it's interesting.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were definitely debates. I just really love them and we have to represent both sides of the topic so we aren't biased about anything. Socratic seminars were also nice. You get to compare what you got from the story to what others understood and you realize MAJOR things you would have missed otherwise.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

DO. NOT. PROCRASTINATE. NEVER. DO. IT.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This teacher has a beautiful heart and she has taught me some beautiful things this year, all through literature! The topics that she covers are very relatable and very interesting to me. She encourages me to do my very best and she is a wonderful friend of mine.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deeer understanding for literature. I have never truly understood how to dissect literature to fully understand it until she showed me how. This year I was actually excited to learn about the stories we read because they were inviting and interesting to me. Now I know that words can have a much deeper meaning than what meets the eye.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just turn your work in and pay attention. Try to be involved with the work, answer questions and take notes. She truly is such a fun teacher and honestly I consider her more as a friend than I do a teacher, but I still respect her as a teacher.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course to people who will take it seriously and not procrastinate on the reading or work, because it is a lot to do. If they have taken AP English before and passed with a B or above, they should be fine, but the work load is shocking.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the independent reading books just because you got to choose and could pick a topic you are actually interested in instead of being told what to read and what to interpret. That freedom was nice. You learn a lot about rhyme, prose, blank verse, and sophisticated writing styles.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT ON ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PROCRASTINATE YOU WILL ONLY GET 2-3 HOURS OF SLEEP IF YOU DO.
