    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student. The class (and the teacher) have helped me improve my writing immensely. I also feel more comfortable with writing the essays I will need to write on the AP Exam, SAT, ACT, and in college.

    Course highlights:

The highlights have been working on our final project, which consists of various kinds of essays. So far, we have written a (humorous) personal narrative, extended definition essay, and are working on a Description essay. In the beginning, I thought it would be incredibly hard to write so many different essays of various styles. But, as we have worked through each of them, I have learned that I am a better writer now and also that there are many ways in which I can improve my writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be patient. In the beginning, you may not score a 4 on all of your practice ACT essays, or a 6 on the practice AP essays. But, by the middle or end of the class, writing begins to come more easily. Essays begin to just fall into place.
