    This class was tough.

It helps prepare you for college literature. It teaches you a wide variety of literature, from easy to hard, and includes Walden, and many other authors

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read every part of the book or assignment

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely recommend this course because the learning experience is unlike any other experience I have ever had. Mr. George Fredrick is so engaged and passionate about his job. He is so dedicated when it comes to teaching. Mr. Fredrick's class is highly enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me the knowledge I need to understand higher levels of literature. American Literature has prepared me to speak in public, and to just overall come out of my comfort zone. Throughout the duration of this course I was able to discover a deeper level to literature. Literature changed so much for me during this course. I do not read literature, and understand literature. I now feel literature. I have learned to distribute all of my senses into literature, therefore I am now able to dive into literature head on and completely understand all aspects of a literary piece.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I have said this many times to underclassmen. "You must read" if you do not read the assigned stories you will not pass. In this course you must open up to new possibilities, and step outside your comfort zone. This course is not easy, there is a lot of work and effort that goes into it. You can not just breeze through this class. You must put in the work, and you must put in the effort. If you open yourself up during this class it could truly change your life, and your perspective on literature all together.
