Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging but not too much. It does not consume much time if you pay attention in class. The teacher is very good at explaining.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the periodic table and how certain things in our world are made up.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advice students to study for test and do all the practice problems you can!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a tricky subject. However, it is crucial for understanding the world around us. It can seem stressful at times, but in the long run you will learn to think differently of all that surrounds you. It is great if you're open minded to difficult subjects and abstract thinking.

    Course highlights:

The course required various amounts of abstract thinking. At times one is taken back by the amount of difficulty in comprehending that we are all made up of seemingly irrelevant atoms. However, once you get past all the fundamentals it begins to become an interesting learn. For example, I learned all about the composition, structure, properties and changes of matter. Especially interesting was learning about molecular geometry and ionic bonding between atoms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take in consideration that chemistry can be a difficult subject for most people. In fact, those who are not fond of excessive amounts of abstract thinking and reading might have difficulty with this class. I suggest always completing all assignments, as chemistry builds upon itself. Also, do not become limited to the information given to you by a teacher, search for videos online and look through other sources of information if you need additional help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because Mr. Pratt is a phenomenal teacher. His Chemistry class is regular, but he used to teach honors, so he knows how to make students understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Thermochemistry, Ground-state configuration, balancing chemical equations, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend for students to pay close attention. Chemistry isn't too difficult, but it may be if you aren't listening or writing notes.
