    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging but if you put time and effort into learning the material it can also be very interesting. Now if you're a person who just wants to take an AP class to just raise your GPA and you aren't willing to put in the work, this course is not for you. It requires time and focus but it can also be extremely gratifying.

    Course highlights:

I gained skills such as, being able to connect different time periods with different ideas. I learned specifically what different presidents did during their term. I learned about the adversity America faced throughout the years and how they overcame it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

NOTES ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND. I stopped taking notes in the middle of the year and I regretted it towards the end of the year when it came time for the AP exam. You have to study on your own. You may learn a lot in class but you have to be willing to go home and fully understand the material and more.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who really likes history and overall anyone who is determined and a hard worker. It's a very interesting coarse that goes really in depth to things that you might or might not have learned.

    Course highlights:

The highlights is that this coarse gives you get an insight of what college classes/lessons will be like. I learned a lot of stuff for example I learned more about the great depression, etc. But not only did I learn that, I also learned how to take notes in a more professional style and how to right a good and interesting research paper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY!!!!!! studying is very important in classes that are AP level. You will get a lot of homework, but you need to take your time on it and make sure you understand. Also pay a lot of attention in class and take notes because that teacher will go through the units very fast, so must keep up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to any student who is willing to put in the time and effort. I felt that this course was beneficial and just the challenge I was looking for to better prepare myself for the future. I was not the best when it came to history but this course definitely pushed me to give my all and expand my knowledge.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was the smoothness of it and how we were taught in a more adult like way, not with the basic worksheets or breakdown of regular courses. We dove into many one on one debates that helped to make sure you not only remembered the issues of your topic but understood what the acts and movements meant. We learned of the highlights of numerous decades and their importance to the present day.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advice to students to take well, organized notes of the material but to construct their own little system that will work best for them. It is not necessary to jot down every single word that is written on the board but make sure to have down the key information.
