Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much, not just about who I am politically, but also how that related to the world around me. The key concepts include exploring the political scene as well as learning, in extreme detail, the ins and outs of the branches of government, public policy, and campaign finance.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me most certainly included our Mock Congress simulation and learning about public policy and the way our government works.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your vocabulary. Just knowing the simple basic terms won't get you where you need to be - knowing the complicated ones that facilitate action in federal government will make everything easier.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was very helpful in learning the processes of the legal branches of this country. Wanting to pursue Politics and Federal Law career is now easier to understand due to this course.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the steps you have to take to become a politician or even the President was very helpful and may help with my future plans. The process it takes does take time and money and people running for those positions should be aware of the steps that must be taken in order to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Every student taking this course should study and be prepared for what tests and challenges will come there way. It is an Advanced Placement course so all students should be prepared to take this course as if it is a college class.

    Course highlights:

Learning about mental disorders and how they are treated was by far the most interesting part of the course!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Pay attention in class. Ask questions.
