LAB # 5
Purpose: The purpose of this lab is to analyze the path of a person in motion and predict
sketch, and test distance vs. time and velocity vs. time graphs.
*Sketches and graphs shown on separate
This graph shows the acceleration of the cart over a period of 20 tics. For the most part
the cart continues to speed up and only decreases in speed at one point (tic number 18).
This is due to uncontrollable circumstances such as a bump in the table or t
This graph shows the speeds of the constant motion cart as it traveled down the
table. When the cart first began to move, from tic number 0 to 4, was the only major
acceleration period where it jumped from 0 cm/tic to 1.4 cm/tic. After that the cart began
Lab # 9
Acceleration of a Cart on a Ramp
Purpose: To record the weight of a cart, the length and heights of the path it travels, use
that data to find theta and the carts acceleration and compare the results.
