Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for those who are interested in learning the reasons why people act the way they do and how genetics can play a role in this as well. I learned so much about our brains and what goes in to even the simplest decisions and actions we make.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning the differences between nature vs nurture and how each affects us in different ways. Not only that, but I also learned the course of sleep throughout the night and how deep sleep goes in a pattern. This course was all about the brain and it was very interesting to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to make sure you ask questions when you have them. Sometimes it's tough to understand new concepts and once you get confused, you can be confused for a while. Ask questions and don't be afraid to speak up on your opinions and experiences.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to all students because it is important for anyone in any field of work to understand how the brain functions so all workers can apply psychology principles to develop effective methods to attract, communicate, and relate to consumers or clients.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course, for me, was when we studied neuroscience. As someone who is planning to enter the medical field, this course provided me with standard knowledge of how the brain functions along with its structures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the assigned reading. Mrs. Horlbogen assigns a reading every class and gives a quiz the following class. If you do not do the assigned reading, you will be lost and not successful in this class.
