Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

United States History is an extremely important course because it teaches us what happened before our time and the results of it. Knowing the past can help us in the future because history tends to repeat itself and we can learn from other's mistakes. This generation will soon be the leaders of America and knowing our Nations history can help us leave the United States better than we found it.

    Course highlights:

Personally, the main highlight of this course for me was the American Revolution unit. I learned how our country came to be and how brave our Founding Fathers were. The Constitution they wrote is still in place centuries later which shows how influential they are to America.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course that it's a great course to take and to be prepared to read the textbook.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher really does love his job. He makes learning so much more than just memorizing things, it's about making connections to past life and our life today. The connections made is what history is all about.

    Course highlights:

From US History, I learned about our Founding Fathers and how they believed that our Constitution should have the ability to adapt to the time period in which it is being used. This aspect of the course really stuck with me because during our day-and-age, change is desperately needed on all levels and it sometimes seems as though our Founding Fathers foreshadowed changed so much that they tried to prepare us for it the best way that they could. Its inspiring how intellectual those men were, knowing that the Constitution they created reached far beyond themselves and their time period.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take US History, make sure you have a planner and you use your time wisely. Getting behind is this class is not a good idea because we are always moving forward. Do your reading and get your homework done and you will not have a problem.
