    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

In this course I learned a lot about how detrimental it is that we care for our environment. There are so many environmentally friendly options for many every day things like waste management, and even small things like fishing techniques.

    Course highlights:

Since the class genuinely enjoyed the subject, everyone was very comfortable with each other and the topics, which made it very easy to form study groups. It is a very helpful class because environmental science applies to everyone!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in Environmental, you need to put in time and effort. Although the topics seem easy, the tests are very thorough and are something that you definitely need to prepare for. A major study tip is to form study groups with friends so that you can cover all topics.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved my AP Environmental Science course because it helped me to realize that being environmentally conscious isn't about 'going green'. Instead, I realized the importance of being conscious of the natural cycles that connect us to other living creatures on Earth. Most importantly, it taught me to be conscious of where commodities used in our daily lives come from.

    Course highlights:

As an avid environmentalist, I didn't think that there was ablot for me to take away from my AP Environmental Science Course. However, I was able to make connections such as where foods we eat are sourced and how that affects others. I learned about long-term impacts of daily habits such as water usage and how our usage affects other people and ecosystems both local and around the world. I learned about how heavy metals used to make batteries are extracted and how the extraction of such materials causes more environmental damage than good derived from electric battery power.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to students considering this course is to come prepared with an open and unbiased mind. You don't have to convert your life to an all-natural, gmo-free, anti-pollutant style, but neither should you hate environmental activism. Instead, try to see that Environmental Science is about being conscious of how we as humans connect with the Earth and with other species who share the same planet.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it is cheaper to take at the high school than college and the teacher is one of the best I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include the course material. The material you learn in this class is life changing and can even change your opinion on certain subjects you may have been unsure about. I learned a lot about my own body, mind, and why I do certain things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You will need to listen to the teacher and record your notes from the videos that she shows in class. You will also need to do outlines for each chapter and do flashcards of the vocabulary.
