    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The only reason I wouldn't recommend the class is if you do not like reading a lot of material of which a lot may not make sense.. Additionally, I would not take it if you want an answer to those questions you had from the readings.

    Course highlights:

I gained better reading, note taking, writing and comprehension skills; all skills vital to success in college. I learned to teach myself and know that it is okay to struggle.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

READ. That is the most important thing. Going to class is the second most important; it is the most important if you do not read. Try reviewing tests halfway through the semester to retain information.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If youre looking for a challenging course with very detailed information about US History, then this is for you. Mrs. Dowell is fairly laid back, but that doesnt mean you can glide through the course. 4-6 pages of reading every night, plus prep for the AP test the whole year. Overall, I gained alot of knowledge from the class.

    Course highlights:

A deeper understanding of our county's history

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read alot and take good notes. Also be ready to write practice essays, lots of them
