Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The act is coming up and I took it already and I felt I wasn't prepared for the grammar section of the test and this course has done a great job in teaching proper grammar and how to practice even further thanks to this I'll be ready the second time around.

    Course highlights:

I learned mainly how to master proper grammar which will come in handy when taking the pic SAT or ACT.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It will take some independent studying to get through some of the grammar lessons

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has helped bring out my creative side. It is a great way to start young writers and poets off. I learned how to write and organize complete essays and how to include many details, imagery and diction. It also taught me how to be enthusiastic and not dull when I am writing. It teaches you how to start off you're writing and grab the readers attention. I wish I would have known more vocabulary before taking this course because it is a hassle searching for more "mature" words while writing. I advise you to read at least 20 minutes everyday before bed. It will increase your speed reading skills and boost your IQ level in reading. Other than that, I highly recommend taking this course for the various reasons and better yet, you might impress yourself and become an advanced writer you never thought of.

    Course highlights:

I loved writing about different topics because I surprised myself in what I could do with a topic I disliked, for instance. It also enhanced my vocabulary and spelling. I learned, that you can do anything you set your mind to because all it takes is all you got.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read every night for 20 minutes and practice with an index card, increasing your speed every time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I enjoy English and writing. The class was challenging but rewarding. I enjoyed what we read and how the teacher tied our material into everyday modern lives.

    Course highlights:

We read "Of Mice and Men" this semester. We went through and really understood the concept and theme of the story. It's a great story and it has so much meaning to it once it's broken down. We broke down every story we read to get to the messages it was trying to tell.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to ask for help. Go online if you have to and see what others thought of the book or reading material. Sometimes it really helped to see things from a different point of view. Just read the material is the best advice I can give and if you don't understand a word just look it up. It makes the material that much easier to understand.
