    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class doesn't just teach you how to write. It teaches you how to properly analyze literature, deconstruct poetry, and effectively communicate your thoughts at a college level. It also teaches you tips for effectively and constructively critiquing someone else's paper.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to analyze literature from different social, political, and economic views. I also learned proper grammar and the importance of good syntax and diction. The most enjoyable parts were diving into different works of literature throughout history and learning how much of a big impact art and literature has on society today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do your research. Take lots of notes when you read a book, play, or poem, and think critically about the work. Cite everything properly!
