Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Mr. Carlisle can be a little weird sometimes but there is no better teacher for physics (and chemistry too) in all of Smyrna High School. He is not against meeting outside of class hours to help you understand the material and he has many different ways of explaining course material that are sure to help you pass. His tests were tough but he was pretty generous about letting you retake.
Other than basic physics, I got a lot of experience in lab work. Not only were these labs fun but usually we had a lab for each chapter and it helps a lot to understand the course when you get to experience it hands-on.

Advice for students:
Read the chapters. The book can be hard to understand but it will still give you a basic understanding before he goes in detail. Not to mention it's another way to look at the subject so the worst it can do is help. Also take really good notes. Both of these will help in any class but especially when it came to formulas.
