Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Many find the title of "AP" intimidating, but with AP Literature, the course is applicable to many students. The novels are not tedious and have effective plotlines, but also the deeper meanings are enjoyable to decipher as a class. The overall atmosphere of AP Literature is enough to make a student want to go to class at the end of the day, despite the looming AP Test that the student will be readily prepared for.

    Course highlights:

As someone aspiring to work with literature in a publishing house, AP Literature served as a fantastic introduction into the tasks I will be completing. My writing skills improved through deciphering themes, motifs, and other hidden meanings in already published books. Those skills helped me develop my own effective writing style, as well as taught me to appreciate the true beauty of written word.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is not comparably difficult, but as the AP Literature title implies, it does have a fast paced curriculum that could be difficult to follow if a student has a hard time keeping pace.
