    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would have recommended it at a point when she was still there, however the IB program is dwindling at Bolton and many teachers are or have already left the school, Mrs Smith included.

    Course highlights:

I learned a wide array of biology topics and in many cases gathered a sense of great understanding.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just be sure to follow through on things you are supposed to learn. Never just assume you know something.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I personally like Biology. It is so fascinating to learn about the mechanics of the human body, as well as the beauty of nature and the world. I want to major in biomedical engineering, and I believe that it was from this subject (as well as my amazing teacher), that I am able to learn and be exposed to this field more than I have ever been before. In order to succeed in this rigorous course, do not procrastinate! Pay attention in class and highlight or take down notes. Do whatever it takes to help you prepare for the test, whether it is making your own flashcards, setting up a Quizlet, or forming a study group. IB junior and senior Biology is one of the most difficult subjects. Enjoy learning Biology because everything learned in this course is essential to our lives.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course range from labs to study groups to even listening to lectures from my teacher! I enjoy labs because it helps me work with different people, as well as explore the experiment. Biology may be confusing, but that is what a teacher is for! I enjoy listening to lectures as well as asking questions whenever I do not understand a concept. Even though it may get tiring sometimes, learning is an enriching experience.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is not easy. It helps prepare you for a real college course, and teaches you responsibility. Slacking off is not an option unless you want a less than satisfactory grade in the class. You learn better study habits and how take notes according to how you learn. The class also helps you learn how to work with your peers because we study together a lot.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were that I got a good education in a subject that I like. Also, getting to work in the lab was a big plus because e got to get a first-hand experience of what we were learning. I learned how to make cheese, about the skeletal and muscular system, genetics, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be willing to learn and study. It will get tough but it is fun when you exceed and learn about some pretty cool thing. Also dedicate some time to it, studying the night before won't cut it.
