Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Dr. Camara is great at breaking things down, especially for those that have a hard time with math already. He often pushes back the due date for online work, which is really helpful for anyone that might have a ton of work.
Course highlights:
This course is great for reintroducing you to math that you have forgotten from high school and introduces some college-level math towards the end of the semester
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure to do the online homework and quizzes so you'll know the material better.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this course because you need it to graduate.
Course highlights:
I did not gain much from taking this course. I spent most of my time in tutoring, trying to make sure that I understand.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure that you know how to do mathematics on the computer, so that you do not have a hard time completing homework and quizzes, because everything is online. Also, go to tutoring at least 3 times a week to make sure that you understand mostly everything.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I loved this course because Dr. Wang was a very thorough and precise professor! You can tell she knows her stuff and is willing to help if you show willingness to advance yourself.
Course highlights:
Really diving into basic concepts and understanding them on a deeper level was something that I took way from this course.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
Be sure to study. Go to the Math Lab. Don't buy the book until the first day of class, she shows you how to get the code online (waaaaaaay cheaper). Ask questions after class and show willingness to learn and she will be willing to hep you.
