    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are looking to go into Calculus, of course. The material covered in this course is exactly the same in Calculus, only less thorough. It is also very trig and algebra based so I would recommend you are confident in those courses.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was learning derivatives and I really enjoyed that topic. I learned a lot like area under the curve, how to find the slope of a tangent line, and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely write down all examples that go with the given equation/how to solve because when you look back at it it'll be significantly easier to solve. Do extra practice problems to help you fully understand each topic because it'll more than likely come up again later to tie in with a new topic.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It isn't just a math course but a class where questions are appreciated. I have never been in a math class where a teacher takes extra time to make sure everyone understands a topic before moving on. She also loves talking about improvement and working hard to reach your maximum potential in math.

    Course highlights:

This class (so far) is kind of an overview of Algebra 2 that I studied 2 years prior. However, my algebra 2 teacher was really confusing and now with Ms. Houck, I am able to understand the knowledge I was lacking in the previous years. I learned a lot about hand-graphing and division which are my weak points

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework even though it is optional. It will ensure that you have perfected the skills that will be on the homework quizzes. Also, keep an open mind because you can be successful if you keep on trying.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very rigorous, but the teacher works extremely hard, making sure every student is successful in the class.

    Course highlights:

Building a relationship with my teacher and actually understanding the content.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay organized and always be attentive. Do not be afraid to talk to the teacher and ask questions. Put your effort in this course or else you will not do as well as you will want to do in the course.
