    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was boring but the he knew the material well.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the civil rights movement.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard for his tests but also make sure that you outline each chapter. This can make or break your grade.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There are many reasons why I would recommend this course. The first reason being that the class provided various opportunities to communicate with the other students you were with, by doing activities such as open forms where the students would have to read a passage from a textbook, pick out important information, and lastly reflect on the information they read and how they could then relate it to a situation that is currently happening in the world or an event that has previously occurred.

    Course highlights:

Believe it or not the highlight of this course was the note taking that I had to do weekly based on different passages from textbooks. The reason as to why I consider this to be the highlight of the course is because it helped me become a better note taker by forcing me to only pick out the important information and to use abbreviations in order to save time due to the fact that these reading sections were very long.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class its important to take notes of the lectures and to read the passages that were assigned for homework because if you don't you will constantly be confused on the information that is in the class lectures and to just take class notes on the information that you haven't seen in the textbook meaning mainly focus on the information that is talking about rather than waisting time trying to copy very single word that is written on the board. Another advice would be to look over the notes you take during the open forms because they can contain information that could possibly appear on the final test.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great opportunity to take the class for college credit. You just need to be prepared it is a lot of work and a lot of information. As a student you can not get behind in this class.

    Course highlights:

Connecting additional reading to the history. This allowed us to look at more than just the facts and dates in history but study what was happening in the time period.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare for work and do not get behind. Take good notes.
