    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class has pushed me into becoming a better writer. My vocabulary has increased and my rhetoric is refined.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was seeing my overall improvement. Essays I wrote at the beginning of the course could not even compare to the essays I was crafting at the end of the course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. When you take a hard class, and stick through it until the end, you will be surprised by how accomplished it made you feel.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course because it helps students to think critically. It does so much more than teach us how to pass a test. Through this course I've been able to take ideas found in literature and not only apply them to my own life but find ways to creatively express those life lessons through models and prototypes.

    Course highlights:

We learned essential analysis techniques as well as what life skills we need to cultivate to succeed outside of school. We were taught how to look at life through different perspectives and learn what we can from projects put out by others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is as good for you as you make it. The teacher allows you to choose to apply yourself or not. However, if you take everything in the class seriously and choose to participate to the best of your abilities you will succeed in the class and learn things to take into life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The work can be challenging, but if you put in the effort it can really be worth it if you're looking to improve your writing and reading abilities.

    Course highlights:

Just a few things we've focused on are recognizing author's purpose, rhetoric analysis, and how to improve our writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the assignments on time, study the vocab words, and practice essay writing.
