    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course to anyone who loves a challenge in the classroom. In this class, we are always developing our knowledge of the brain and how it works, as well as learning about ourselves. We focus on all of the curriculum that will help us do well on the AP exam, but also Mr. Larsh gives us opportunities to find our true selves and figure out what we will do with the rest of our lives.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course were learning about the theories of former psychologists about the perceptions that one goes through as they grow older. I really enjoyed learning about this topic because some of the same ideas that were developed years ago are still used today in modern psychology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell any incoming students to study their notes for at least 45 minutes a night. The tests are made to be extremely difficult, and in order to maintain a good GPA you need to do very well on the tests. Mr. Larsh gives out a study guide that takes around 2 hours, but it will help prepare you for all of the exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Larsh is an amazing teacher that truly relates and cares about every student that comes through his class. He makes the class fun and easy to understand but brings forth perplexing ideas that make you think. Taking AP Psychology has allowed me to find my true passion in life.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things beginning with how people are different and how they are related in consciousness. I have learned parts of neuroscience and many other things concerning how we work and how we cope. It's extremely fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you complete all of the worksheets and packets that you are given because they give you a very good idea on what will be on the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class gives you a new perspective in life. If you are looking into learning about the human mind, this is a start!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to motivate myself and how to educate myself. I learned how to memorize things efficiently using mnemonics devices.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When you study, speak out loud to yourself, you learn more and memorize better doing so. Goodluck! Pay attention in class and have fun!
