    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course broadened my knowledge about US history and the history of other nations that we are affected by. I have a deeper appreciation for our government system and better understand how events in the past have shaped what America is today. My teacher utilized documentaries and articles that further deepened my knowledge and shed a new light on historical events that textbooks don't really touch upon.

    Course highlights:

My teacher taught in a very dynamic and amusing way, and made historical events seem more tangible and relatable to the present day. I enjoyed simulating court cases and debates, and working on class projects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your work and thoroughly read and understand the information. Do not skim through the reading or homework just to finish it, but really try to understand the motives, causes, and effects, of a certain historical situation. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy what you learn, regardless of what grade you earn.
