    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because without this course I wouldn't be able to start my own business. Its very useful for real life situations and in learning about Marketing and how it is to run a business like our DECA store. You learn to balance registers, customer service, target market, etc.

    Course highlights:

We do this thing called Santa's Helpers! We adopt 30 families from the food bank and stand outside of Safeway or Walmart and collect food and money donations. Then with what we make in money we go and shop for the families with what they need. They rest of the food goes to the food bank. We broke our record after 19 years with 22,000 food items. I have put in over 100 hours in this.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Just stick with it and go through the full four years! Its worth it towards the end. There maybe drama that happens, it may get boring, or you don't like the homework. After all that though you get to finally work in store! You get to compete and travel around the states! Never give up on yourself and your dreams! I am going to start my own business because of this class!
