Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It truly prepares you for the writing you will be required to do in your years as an upperclassman.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to go about finding research and how to build a strong and informative report of the information that I found.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not slack on the end of the research paper and choose an individual that you are truly interested of learning about rather than forcing yourself to write about someone you could care less about, Put in the time and effort and good things will come your way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend English 10 because it provides the preparation in English that is need during both junior and senior year. Students are introduced to process of beginning, building, and writing research papers, novels and poems that have become infamous within American literature, and gives students help in perfecting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and writing. All teachers within the English department provide as much help as possible in the hopes of students succeeding and take the time to show the correct aspects within high school English to prepare for future advanced writing.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning how to properly research topics and historic individuals, analyze novels and poems, and gain an understanding in American literature. From a final project of research an American figure who has made an impact to history, reading To Kill A Mockingbird, analyzing novels and poems of historic American poets and authors, and becoming more confident in writing assignments.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to never give anything less than 100% of personal effort into your work. This course is here to benefit you but the benefit is based on how much work and effort you are willing to put in.
