    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a hard class that was realistic for college. Mrs. Stapley is strict, but she prepares you for those tests and college and life! I passed both the AP Lit. and Language tests with three's.

    Course highlights:

I leaened a lot more about Shakespeare and classic novels. I learned how to better analyze text and to manage my time. I learned how to write more efficiently and answer promps thoroughly. It really was a great college course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and stay on top of everything. If you are considering, definitely try it! Mrs. Stapley will help you figure out if it is right dor you after a trimester if you are unsure!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it will better prepare you for college. You must know how to write a good essay, and this class will help with that.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed being able to read well written literature that I would have never found on my own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Know yourself and if you are capable of taking a harder than average class. There's not too much homework, but you write a lot of essays, that need to be good.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I grew to really appreciate and love literature more than I ever had before. I even learned to love to read! The class was both enlightening and enjoyable. Overall, the students were very well prepared for the AP test at the end and so it was decently easy to use this class to earn college credit during high school.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were being able to find pieces of literature that I loved! Before this course I honestly wasn't a huge fan of reading, but by the end of the course I had come to really enjoy it. You do so much more than read in this course. One comes to discover all the beautiful hidden symbolism and lessons to be learned within the pieces of literature studied and discussed in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay caught up on your reading. That really is the absolute most important part of this course. Make sure you're caught up on all projects and assignments. It would also be very helpful to make sure you are familiar with all the needed vocabulary throughout the trimester.
