Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it offers insights into the controversial questions and issues that have faced societies in all times and places without overshadowing the optimism that can be found in life.

    Course highlights:

This is an eye opening class that doesn't shy from the grim realities yet acknowledges the possibilities for hope for the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the reading. This will make the class time much more productive and you will be the better for it. It's all about doing the work as it comes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it provides you with opportunity to think and be exposed to topics that are generally not discussed in a normal classroom setting like, war, kindness, gender equality, civil rights, and peace.

    Course highlights:

First off, the teacher is always willing to hear different view points from different people. With this exposure, it provides you with a broader understanding of a topic. The discussions that I have had in this class have helped me understand the world more and why people do the things they do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In this class, you will be using a textbook with various articles that are in discussed in the class. The best advise is read and annotate the articles BEFORE you come into class. (The teacher will give you a schedule of when things are due and what you should read for that day.)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am only half way through this course, and I am already loving it. You will learn about everything there is to discuss. You will be able to go back and forth and argue your sides. Hardy is amazing at telling stories and teaching you everything there is to know.

    Course highlights:

You will go into details on war and peace, as well as gender roles and controversy. I loved learning about the history of different events and the view points on them. I just love everything about this class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always make sure you do the work given, and on time. Do not procrastinate. Yes you have work almost everyday, but when you do it on time, it won't seem bad. But, when you let it build up, it will pile up and be extremely difficult to do.
