    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is great, the course is very useful in life, and the course helps students to prepare for workload of future classes during or after high school.

    Course highlights:

To describe the study of the course, Human Geography is the study of different aspects of distribution throughout the world (people, animals, cultures, businesses, etc.) and how those things interact. In Ms. Chaconas's class of AP Human Geography, the workload was a lot, an outline due every class period and a lot of studying, especially if her class is your first time taking an AP class. However, the teacher is amazing, and she makes the course easier and more understandable by always connecting the lessons to relevant topics. You will never ask yourself, "Why do we need to know this?" because everything is germane to reality. That course defintiely changed my perspective of patterns of interaction, and later helped me come to more reasonable and intelligent conclusiolns in other classes, such as history and humanities.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My main advice for you would be to stay consistent on studying and doing homework. Dedicate a little time every two days to study a portion of the course. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions, the cousre can be perplexing and if there is confusion, nip it in the bud right away by asking for help.
